Short visual novel project in the works for "The Light in Front of Me!"

Long time no see!

There's an important scene in "The Light in Front of Me" that holds a special place in my heart where a major character comes out as trans. However, that scene is pretty far in the book, so I think a lot of people will miss it. I thought on it and decided that I should give that scene special treatment and make it into a short story visual novel!

I'm not an artist, but I took a bit of 3D modeling in college, so I was able to make a decent attempt at creating one of the backgrounds for the story. The scene takes place on the balcony of a mansion in the snowy mountains while one of the characters escapes from the ball happening inside. They have a chance meeting with a stranger who will change their lives forever.

I've been working on the music as well! I made a waltz for the part of the scene that's inside by reading Wikipedia for how they work, and it didn't come out half bad for a quick attempt. I've got more backgrounds to make and songs to write, so don't expect this anytime soon!
